Child Custody Evaluation

A 3111 Child Custody Evaluation is ordered by the Court to address seemingly unresolvable conflicts between the parties about the best way for their family to move forward. Although the process can be challenging and stressful, an child custody evaluation can produce a parenting plan that will support the best interests of your children in the years to come.

An child custody evaluation consists of interviews with the parties and their children in various combinations, a review of documents submitted by the parties, and contacts with professionals and others who have been involved with your family.

By law, the evaluator must remain neutral and unbiased, and must meet all of the mandated requirements for training and experience as specified in the Rules of Court.
